Retired Teacher and Curriculum Specialist—Cisco College Instructor
Christi--44, lives in Los Angeles--has an MA in Art History from London. Christi suffers from Huntington's More…Disease, and I ask that each of you pray for my precious child.
8/3/16--We left Ruidoso and moved home to Abilene! Both of my parents are in nursing homes, and our daughter, Christi, has Huntington’s Disease. Please pray for my family and let me know if you have a prayer request. I am anxious to reconnect with some AHS Eagles!
I currently teach at Cisco College and love it. I have also had 7 books published by Teacher’s Discovery, and I’m working on a children’s book using my mother’s poetry that she has written over the years.
I retired in 2013, and Jack and I moved to Ruidoso, NM, in November 2013.
I worked for the Social Security Adm. for 10 years, then at age 30 quit to return to school for my teaching degree. I graduated summa cum laude from TCU in 1987 and began teaching at Azle High School. I earned my master's in English from UNT in 1996. I have taught at Azle and Aledo and worked in 3 high schools in Fort Worth as an Academic Coordinator. I also served as a Curriculum Specialist. My passion is Brisith literature, and I've been blessed to have visited England three times. I could live there--especially Yorkshire!
