Update
The past year has brought much sadness. I lost my dad in November and mom in December. In January, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer. He is currently in remission, and for that we are grateful. I ask for prayers for strength during this difficult time. I pray that each of you are well.
I still teach at Cisco College and love it. I have also had 7 books published by Teacher’s Discovery.
I retired in 2013, and Jack and I moved to Ruidoso, NM, in November 2013. We moved to Abilene in 2016 to be closer to family.
I worked for the Social Security Adm. for 10 years, then at age 30 quit to return to school for my teaching degree. I graduated summa cum laude from TCU in 1987 and began teaching at Azle High School. I earned my master's in English from UNT in 1996. I have taught at Azle and Aledo and worked in 3 high schools in Fort Worth as an Academic Coordinator. I also served as a Curriculum Specialist. My passion is Brisith literature, and I've been blessed to have visited England three times. I could live there--especially Yorkshire!
